"The Lavra" (1994),51,18x35,43 х 1,06. Oil on canvas. Kiev Pechersk Lavra favorite place in Kiev. Since childhood, I've been working here in the open air. The painting itself was drawn from memory. On the walls Cathedral was painted ornament. The created image is fabulous and at the same time synthetic. In the picture there is a sentimental love for my native Kiev. Since 1995, the picture "The Lavra" is stored in the collection the National Art Museum by Taras Shevchenko. The painting dates from the early period of creativity: Neo-secessive Art (1986-1995) http://www.ivapavelchuk.com/en/neo-secessive.If you are interested, you can watch the video: Solo exhibition: “Formula Metaphors”, Museum of Russian Art, Kyiv, Ukraine (2006): http://www.ivapavelchuk.com/en/video.
