About The Artwork
In my current body of work, I chose to build collages based off inspirations in my life such as; imagination, movies, sports, drama, personal interest, past experiences, action, and movement. I intend the viewer to mentally build a story of what is represented and imagine movement in the piece, like a movie or motion picture. I chose acrylic on BFK Reeves French paper mainly because it is accessible and easily managed. I chose the boy due to my childhood (new toys as such), the female figure is a representation of misconception and drama (personnel), and the environment of this piece speaks to my interest in the world and the technology around us.
