Under the Rain Tree (2014) Print

So just like a snow tree, the raintree in the sky is where rain really comes from, and the craziest thing is... it only rains when someone passes by underneath it! Here we have two penguins who live in the sky, and one of them forgot its umbrella while strolling through the rainforest (yes I know there is such a forest in our world). Luckily, another penguin, a regular visitor to this rainforest, has an umbrella, and jumps into the rescue! (While writing this newsletter last night, I realized that penguins are water creatures, so technically rain shouldn't bother them... OMG what is going on with me today hahaha) Anyways, so these two strangers meet under an umbrella... Is this a lovebird story in the making? Or simply an act of random kindness from one penguin to another? Whatever it turns out to be, be sure to carry your umbrella with you. You'll never know who you might meet one rainy afternoon when you offer to share it with a stranger. Or you can take a chance in a downpour and ask a cute stranger to share his/her umbrella with you.
