About The Artwork
I thought about the things that make up the world. I considered the apple as an element of the world (human being) and perceived it as air. This work shows the phenomenon in which the expression of apology is being omitted in my work. (Jangji is thick paper made from Korean mulberry trees. It is a medium that can be preserved for more than 1,000 years.)

South Korea
Sungho Kim is an artist based in Seoul. He majored in Korean painting at Chung-Ang University. He has a master's degree from Chung-Ang University and he teaches art at high school and college. He contemplates the existence of objects and makes his work transcend time and space. In 2018, he won the grand prize at the art exhibition hosted by the Art Association, and is actively engaged in activities such as holding solo exhibitions every year.
