Unreachable wishes Print

The fast tempo of everyday life makes some wishes very unreachable. Meetings, schedules, family obligations, often leave no space for simple dreams. Wishes are postponed to the imaginary time when "there is not so much to do", although that time will never come. The dog is a symbol of loyalty to the system, to the modern way of life and his wish for the bones stays unreachable. He is bound to the telephone, to his obligations, and the telephone is at the same time the clock - as a symbol of the passing time. During the artist residency in tropical south-east Asia, I have realised how much the opportunity to change the working surrounding brings fresh new ideas. This freshness is visible in this painting radiant red, and complimentary green makes it even more shining. This is a kind of painting that can´t be unnoticed in the room.
