About The Artwork

This Painting is part of my '' butterfly effect '' collection created in 2022, and exhibited in two solo exhibitions (Cairo and Berlin). about the collection. The collection includes a series of paintings, experimental compositions created using photographic processes, and video art projection - all reflecting on how small occurrences that escape our notice can determine large-scale effects which we cannot fail to see. The occurrences that change the world may be tiny things. A butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazonian jungle can affect the course of a tornado in the United States in the metaphor that the meteorologist and mathematician Edward Norton Lorenz used to illustrate his deterministic chaos theory. This is especially poignant at the time when the world is facing unprecedented ecological challenges and political and economic turmoil. Nobody is alone in this world, and no act is without consequences for others.
