I like ancient mythology, fairy tales and always find inspiration in them. Once I hear or read a legend, I begin to create visions and images, but never know what it will be in the end. This fantasy is born from ancient Greek story about Venus and her tears - that's how red poppys appeared. Oil painting made on stretched canvas, with palette knife. Edges are painted, so there is no need for framing. D-rings attached on the back, ready to hang. Covered with dammar varnish to preserve color and protect from UV light, dust and moisture.
