About The Artwork

About my work: Part of my red hat collection. The first serious piece of work I sold online was a lady in a red hat, it went to London and I was so proud of myself. In fact, the first works I did as a full-time artist were ladies in red hats and they will always be part of my work, I love painting my women in red hats. Vietnamese woman always looks so elegant even when going to work in the rice fields or riding bicycles and always wearing large colourful hats. I’ve painted many and sent them around the world and wherever they are they will always have a part of me in them. This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me. I always sign my work on the front of each painting, you will receive a certificate of authenticity with your painting. I’m over the moon that I have been handpicked by the editors of an online gallery to be tipped for the top as one to watch and invest in. I have sent my work to over 27 countries and to some great landmarks such as Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair, 5th Ave New York, Malibu beach in California and from Washington to LA, Hong Kong and Singapore, in fact one of my best collectors is in Amsterdam which is not short of great artist or galleries, I’m very proud of that. COMMISSIONS:  I would be delighted to create you a unique work, whatever size you need or colour palette.  NOTE: The images in situ are computer generated, might not be to scale and serve for illustration purposes only.

Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
