This painting is the result of a thinking on the theme of peace. The work depicts a gun in its exploded view, which is an overall drawing of all the individual parts of the object to be mass produced. The concept underlying this painting is that peace can only be achieved through precise choice. The gun in pieces arranged in a well-defined pattern suggests the ease of obtaining a weapon by putting the described pieces together, thus becoming, an instrument of death. With this painting I want to reflect on how easy it is to make war but also that war is our choice and responsibility
