ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The day I painted this piece, I was struggling with my art. I was having an 'off day' and was having trouble creating a piece. The wagtail in the picture has its back to us, looking out into the distance. Not looking up, nor down, which I hoped to protray as I wasnt feeling optimistic or pessimistic at the time. The wisteria above doesn't really signify anything to me, however I hope it can portray something to you.

21, Born in Somerset (England, UK). Self-taught aspiring to make it as a professional artist one day! I love the feeling of creating and finishing a painting, a sense of achievement and peace. I use watercolour paints (mainly Japanese watercolours) and chinese ink, on rice paper. I have always been creative and have dabbed in artwork since growing up. Recently been learning the Chinese Brush Painting style, however struggle to keep with the ‘traditional’ way of brush strokes. I used to paint in the known western way, where lots of detail is involved, using all sorts of mixed media. I am continuing to learn the Chinese Painting style, however I am incorporating my own flair and painting technique and creating my own stye. I believe this can be seen from my artwork, which I hope you enjoy!
