This painting commemorates the suffering that Ukraine is going through due to the unlawful invasion by the Russian army. It is acknowledging my support for the Ukraine people in this difficult time. A "venok" is a Ukrainian version of the wreath designed to be worn by a young girl. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this painting will be donated to Ukrainian Crisis Appeal. This oil on canvas painting is a part of the "In the gleam" collection. This artwork looks particularly impressive when displayed with other artworks from this collection: the paintings are of the same size and create a composition pleasing to the eye . The canvas of this oil painting is stretched on a quality 38mm deep frame, sealed with varnish to enhance the lifetime, and comes signed, with a wire on the back ready for hanging.
