About The Artwork

Willing Yet Wayward dramatically expresses the two sides of the King David. He was known as a "Man after God's own heart." This statement can be jarring since he committed adultery, impregnated this woman, manipulated her husband and had him killed – Wayward. Yet David was a courageous warrior who defined faith and strength against impossible odds. He loved God and repented for his foolish actions – Willing. His story is one which can bring great encouragement to those of us who struggle, there is grace for those who find themselves willing yet wayward.
