More than ever, life is the key theme. We have to reconceive what life is. My work is about spontaneity, integrity, family roots, valuing time, empowering to create. My work is about life without the invisible walls that are imposed by industrial and standardized consumer society, which fragments the knowledge of the human being and projects its inability to creative autonomy. We exist with the freedom to express what we feel to whoever we want. I propose the valorization of craftsmanship as an inducer of human intelligence. I believe in spontaneity as the most revolutionary attitude in the expression of identity. I learned a universe from the irreverence of the street carnival in Rio de Janeiro. My work results from the colors representing what I see in the world: landscapes, moments, joys. I also bring what is not visible, but that overflows with the sensations experienced in the stories I tell. A familiar place, the curves of the beaches and mountains that are reflected in the waters of the sea, fluid as the paints that blend on paper. Flowers, sun, brightness, rain, and everything we don't see with our eyes, but with our hearts.
