Mohammed Ullah Rajib. An artist with immense passion and love for my work, I was born and  raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. has held over 20+ one-man exhibitions both in Bangladesh and  abroad, and has participated in numerous national and international shows and artist camps.   Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the vast  culture and beautiful surroundings of me. But soon i realized there are more to it behind the  scene that is what starts out as hope soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of futility,  leaving only a sense of failing and the unlikelihood of a new reality. So i decided to use my  passion of painting as a way of uplifting the positive and negative vibes that has impacted our  day to day life.  The creative process for me is one that is both automatic and emotional. The majority of my  abstract works are inspired by the music I listen to, the people i met, their life-story. For me,  creating my art is like being on a roller coaster; ups and downs, highs and lows, twists and turns.  Painting for me, like life, is constant movement, constant change. The creation process is  cathartic, allowing my emotions to spill out onto my canvas as a release.  My landscapes are painted using oil paints, with some use of acrylics during the initial phase  and I enjoy developing my distinctive photorealistic style by paying attention to every detail. My  reference material is very often taken from a photo I have taken whilst on my travels, both close  to where I live or further afield. Although I specialise in landscapes, I like to put myself to the  test with the occasional portrait painting.
