This work shows one of the views from the Wallachian hill Solan (Soláň) situated in mountains in The Czech Republic. My grandma was born here and I often go to places she loved and I try to understand the philosophy of the locals. Painting was a practical part of my bachelor thesis in combination with another three works, whole collection is displayed in pictures and you may find them also for sale on my page. "Thesis is focused on extending awareness about work of artists connected to Wallachian hill Soláň, where is described their working process with focus on their inspirational springs, whereas we use new information in pedagogical process. Thesis contains theoretical, practical and didactical part. Theoretical part concerns with particular authors, includes comparison of their point of view of their interpretation of local landscape and lifestyle and searches for connexions between inspirational sources and motives of Soláň and surroundings. There is effort to introduce work of local painters concentrated on use of natural shapes, colours and local traditions. Thesis reflects on current situation of art in this area. Practical part is orientated on subjective externalization of landscape based on gained information about authors. We are looking for personal expression of feelings and we endeavour deeper understanding of local artists and generally local lifestyle. Didactical part describes use of inspirational springs provided by surroundings of hill and sceneries in case to be utilized for a children’s trip to nature, where children through didactic games will improve their skills, such as creativity. They will meet Wallachian folklore and improve their immunity by residence in nature filled with fresh air."
