ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by my long standing meditation practice. Yoga says that a calm, reflective mind is an active, productive mind. I want to use my art to induce mindfulness and a serene yet vibrant state of mind within the viewer. I use color as vibration, to create a therapeutic, healing effect on the viewer. I prefer to work in acrylics as it is a very versatile medium and I can use it to create a pulse or throb within the image to bring it to life.
