I do my paintings in paints using techniques according to Rembrandt`s procedures (technique of layering transparent paints) and underlayers according to the protocols of Italian and Dutch Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries. I have rediscovered secrets forgotten over time... My interest lies in the Old Testament, particularly tales of prophecy and the warnings of sages and prophecy and the warnings of sages, and prophets have been inspirations for many paintings. However my paintings have their own twist. Time, oceans, mountains, deserts plants, animals; who has created all this? Who is managing it and for how long? Those questions are always on my mind. Although my paintings depict landscapes, there is much more meaning behind them. Landscapes are only a pretext to deliberations above problems of the earth and universe. A few of my latest artworks are spatial with elements of nature. I use abstracts and symbolic elements to give viewers a chance to think and analyze these paintings on their own because everyone has different interpretation. My idea of art is inspired by Emmanuel Kant's philosophy, Herbert Read's philosophy of modern art, as well as Umberto Ecco's vision of art. Those philosophers have a huge influence on my perception of the world and the occurring relations in nature and art. My latest artworks are an example of these relations.
