About The Artwork
The "Glass" series is a symbolic series. The glass represents the separation between people in relationships, the invisible barrier. The glass reflects and distorts our perception of each other. The set-up of each piece is not meant to be clear because that is not what it's about, but I take photos of what I'm trying to communicate and then place that photo in glass objects and then paint that. This is part of the "Glass" series. This is on gallery wrapped canvas with turquoise painted sides.
