ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A girl leaning on hands of stone captures a poignant moment frozen in time. Her connection with the unyielding stone creates a visual dialogue between fragility and resilience. The image evokes a timeless narrative, inviting contemplation on the enduring nature of human emotions against the backdrop of solid, immovable artistry. Through this composition, this photo paints a striking portrait of vulnerability and strength, where the ephemeral meets the everlasting in a delicate touch between the living and the sculpted.

I am a visual artist, an observer. I observe being and feelings which will inevitably be embodied in shapes and forms. I photograph in stream of consciousness never treating the person in frame as a model, but as a collaborator who is creating with me. Sometimes the person in frame is myself, living in front of my camera. Preferring the process over the result like a satellite i move around the person with my camera, I am just present and fix the specific moments of vulnerability. And when I see it, the moment, the state i know it’s our symbiotic artwork. All optical illusions I create right in the process, and never convert color to black and white. Mainly monochrome result reflects my state through the prism of the state of other person, and quite often my photos are references to classical art of different disciplines.
