ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Image of a solitary stretch of black highway cutting through the snowcapped peaks of the Hindu Kush in northern Afghanistan. This route is the only overland route between northern and central Afghanistan. I captured this image while flying in a helicopter at approximately 15,000 feet in elevation from Kabul to northern Afghanistan on a mission in February 2013. Currently offered as a print in 3:2 ratio format.
