This work was inspired by a scene from the movie The Lighthouse, which in turn was inspired by the painting Hypnose by Sascha Schneider. I re-enacted the scene with me and my dog and then added the light rays in post production. The ever loyal dog not only represents all animals, but also the innocents. This image investigates humans desire for power and control.
