Saturday night (02/15/2020), I watched the movie Joker. I don't waste my time watching movies that aren't great or excellent. In the case of the Joker, excellent. I was so delighted with the actor's performance, the story of the film and the photographs of the clown that I remembered a cultural artistic project of mine already written (2016), where I will paint 14 clowns that really existed and made thousands of people happy. Yesterday, when I sat down to create art in that first photo, my mind just flew and the whole creative process came intuitively. I started by placing a crystal ball in his hands, but suddenly I saw that there was a place waiting for the clown's characteristic nose. So I decided to mischaracterize the stairs to make art in the background. At the same time, I decided to leave the subject of the crystal ball and stylize the clown's eyes; instantly, I decided to give more life to the "canvas", releasing several clown noses in the background, thus concluding my first piece in this collection 3 - which is called: "And when does the curtain close?"

Brazil
Valeria Diaz was born in the city of Recife, Brazil, and at the early age of 7 she was already very interested in observational drawing. Her father was a tailor and her mother a seamstress. Valeria started sewing her own clothes from the age of 14. When the time came for her to pick a profession at 16, she decided to study Product Design at UFPE University (Recife / Brazil), getting her bachelor's degree in 1987. After that, she decided to start her own gym and beachwear company. In 2010, when Valeria Diaz was living in England, she decided to channel her talents to start a painting career as an intuitive self-taught painter and pursue her place in the art world. Back in Brazil in 2011, she participated in several exhibitions in Brazil, an Art Fair in Paris and another in Finland. In 2018, the artist moved to the United States. Valeria´s art is vibrant, original and interactive. Her art continues to decorate and beautify several homes and offices around the world.
