About The Artwork
I stand strong. I welcome the waves and clashing thunders. I welcome the burning summer sun and the rain whipping my skin. A skin made of stone, for I come from stone. I am earth. Stone devouring flesh, for I return there. Earth is my home. As a supprter of reconnecting to nature I got inspired by the idea of the human body pictured seemingly as one with the rocks that surround it. Emerging from them, taking energy from the earth and returning there.
