About The Artwork
This is a photogoraphic impression of the construction of what is called the "Bollendak" (the Sphereroof), the cover of the Railwaystation square in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The round shapes are given different colors to make a colorfull work of photographic art. The combination of the smooth shape of the spheres to be and the rough scaffolding result in an exciting contrast. The photograph is mounted on 4 mm dibond and covered with a glossy epoxy resin, called "liquid gloss".
