About The Artwork
The devastation and crass butchery mankind undertakes with our world's oceans and land masses is obscene. We learn of the wealth and majesty of the sea and the glorious stretches of differing land yet do very little to protect this vast natural phenomenon. It is indeed a speck within the cosmos. It is our spacecraft, our life force. This artwork is my attempt to introduce vivid and violent element into a visual concept in the hope that viewers will take just a moment to visualise what life would be without it functioning properly, fully serviced and with tanks full for sustained flight.
