Inspired by photographers such as Jaromir Funke, the pinhole camera is deliberately used here to achieve image effects that cannot be achieved with a "normal" camera. By using the pinhole camera, the subject is removed from the mechanical realism of the medium of photography. The austerity and clarity of the image is softened by the natural blur of the lensless camera.
