About The Artwork

Composition of the primary colors blue, red, yellow and the "non-color" black. Inspired by the aesthetics of the "De Stijl" movement with influences from Suprematism and Constructivism. A static harmony of color and form in which any reference to the real world is missing and which can thus allow the viewer to mentally approach their own inner peace, harmony and discipline. Taken digital in 2021. Limited vintage print. The photography is masterfully printed on Fuji material . A white border of 3 cm is obligatory. Embossed stamp in the lower white border, on the right with the individual limitation number. Signed by the artist on the back of the photograph.

Essence of my artistic life: I am and remain curious and always ready to go new ways in photography. Essential projects of the last years are my series "Momentum" which captures the timeless spirit of cities, landscapes, lonely and hidden places and my series "Heimstatt" which shows the timeless living spaces, dreams and places of people without bringing the people involved into the picture. All my black and white camera obscura photograph are also a small reminder of Nicéphore Niépce who in 1826 made the world's first ever photograph with a camera obscura in an over 8 hour exposure.
