Enchanted Forest Print

Every photograph a photographer takes looks like a masterpiece to them. That file might sit on their hard drive for years without ever being looked at again because there were another (or many) images taken during that shoot that is more obviously perfect. This is one of those images that got away. I took it in Forest Park, Portland, Oregon in 2014. We spent 2 weeks visiting friends and every single day my SD card was filled with wonders I had only ever dreamed of. I literally took thousands of photographs and chose a large handful that I edited and offered for sale. This one wasn't of a landmark: St John's Bridge, Multnomah Falls, Haystack Rock etc, so it was left until a few days ago. On that particular day, I went trawling through my images for ones that had an element of magic, of enchantment within them and suddenly this moment in time, when the sun shone through the tallest trees I had ever seen onto a deep red earthen pathway came to life. Hopefully, you can see the magic of nature in it, too?
