Endless Ride in the Dark Print - Limited Edition of 1

I was born and raised in The Netherlands, in the province of Noord-Brabant, close to the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Currently I live close to this area. As a child I was always doing something creative . Drawing, painting, playing with clay and being creative with stuff found in nature. My favorites were Ecoline, Indian ink and Fimo clay. For the last 5 years, my camera became my favorite medium. In the beginning of 2018 I discoverd Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). ICM gives me the ultimate feeling of freedom while taking photographs. I am fascinated about the gift of creativity. How an idea can pop up in your head out of nothing. How you can create something out of nothing. The creative process calms my mind. I look for simplicity and balance in my photographs. As well as an impressionistic approach to my subject. I like photographs that are clear, but still can be interpreted in the viewers own way. I think it is interesting to look at a subject in different ways and angles, and see things you could not even imagine. Photography gives me the opportunity to reflect just that part of reality that I want to see. And to transform the reality like I imagine. Converting my thoughts and feelings into an image. With room for improvisation. Inspiration I can find especially in nature and places where time seems to stand still.
