Holi festival in India is global attraction. Part of India still celebrates holi in its unique traditional form. Nandgaon village attracts global visitors each year to celebrate this traditional holi. Men from Barsana - town of Radha comes to visit Nandgaon where Lord Krishna spent his time. Winning over a temple in Nandgaon is the main purpose. While female from Nandgaon tries to beat the intruding men with bamboo sticks. Men tries to protect themselves with shields & mock battles. At the end men reaches temple & mock battle & traditional holi song singing happens between two villages. The scene of gathering is famously known as Samaj. While the samaj is happening people from all around the places tries to cover the scene under thick colour cloud. This image is one of a kind however. While the Samaj was in progression, this fearless walker just decided to join the group by entering the thick cloud all by himself. Probably he has seen lot many of such holis in his life. Deep contrast of his attires against colour cloud in back makes the image more special & unique.
