In the photograph "FLESH," award winning photographer Francis George utilizes abstract, soft lines to deconstruct the traditional notion of masculinity as being absent of femininity, and that the male paradigm can embody characteristics often stereotypically ascribed to females (whether personality traits or behavior) and that gender roles are ultimately culturally and socially derived, subjective, and do not necessarily define femaleness or maleness. The photographic work in that collection is not manipulated and comes straight from the camera and then color corrected. each print is signed in the back by the photographer Francis George. That artwork will be included in a coffee table book published by Tigrefou Editions due later in 2019.
