About The Artwork
My images are the result of varying degrees of influence such as such as propulsion and screens that build upon a light’s distinct qualities. The hung light sources navigate a path in response to those factors coupled with simultaneous camera movement. It is a dance between control, perceived freedom and perspective. What results is a record of how these separate movements coalesced in those moments. Attempts at following radiance, to track where it goes beyond the moment that is visible and view its journey. Just as the moments of our lives overlap to create our transient existence, the images in this series offer a glimpse of a resulting finite occurrence. Printed on a Fine Art Smooth Matte Paper. Acid-Free , PH Neutral, made from pure cellulose. Inkjet printed with archival pigment inks.
