Hard Tears Falling Print

A different take: Sometimes LOVE is the animal or perhaps a person you had for a time and when they pass, when they wilt away from you, hard tears fall. This is dedicated to the two year old Mamma Cat who came into my life with her kits about three months ago. I never expected that I would get so bonded to such a good cat nor that I would want any more animals again. She left us suddenly. I promised her that I would take care of her kits. I barely had enough time with her. Nnature is damn cruel Life and love are beautiful and conflicted. Momma cat was so sweet that all of the vets and techs who barely knew her sobbed. She was a jewel, a snowflake that melted away the moment I was ready to give her as much love as she deserved. She was a stray. Perhaps she came to teach me to embrace a beautiful soul even when it's short lived in my presence and then there's the letting go. This flower portrait is not necessarily a beautiful flower. It is wilting, dying, but it fades with grace.
