ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My approach to abstraction is to add and subtract multiple layers of shape, texture, and color in imagery – deconstructing reality, accentuating the metaphysical. The result of what I do, I think, is a painterly abstraction of the subject in a photographic medium.

After receiving a BFA in filmmaking and photography at Massachusetts College of Art, he worked two years in San Francisco seeking a career in filmmaking.
