About The Artwork
This photograph is part of a larger series of images documenting waterscapes. Over the last ten years I have photographed rivers, seas, lakes and oceans, from Costa Rica, to the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco, and Indonesia. There's an undeniable fascination for the element of water, and I am currently working on a book dedicated to it entirely. The image was taken during a trip to the South of France, at a stunning salt marsh. The unique pink colour of the water is due to a micro algae, Dunaliella Salina. All prints are delivered on high quality archival paper. Please note that different sizes are available for purchase.
