Leaf Art, The Trunk - Limited Edition of 5 Print

During Covid shut down, I felt restless. Yet, I was happy that I was at Svanir, a Wilderness Eco-stay next to an Elephant Sanctuary in Bhubaneswar. So, whenever I could, I would move out with my camera among the trees and try to discover unseen close-ups of nature. This is a photo of a slice of a banana leaf with wonderful texture highlighted by the sun and shade.Visualised and taken from a low angle it looks like a bird about to take off. The result, with a little digital manupulation turned out much to my liking – I visualized it hanging on a wall of conference rooms, chambers of executives and class rooms inspiring the occupants to push hard like an elephant. The Leaf Art collection is Limited (can be printed in sizes greater than 24x36 inches) to just 5 authenticated copies. In case a buyer wishes to own the art work exclusively; so that he or she can get it printed on the medium of choice, at his/her favourite printer, then I am willing to send the digital file directly to the collector. The hassles of packing, transporting in this Covid restrictive world, would be obviated. But, of course, the price for this exclusivity will be four times the printed sale price or as can be negotiated, involving Saatchi Advisors.
