About The Artwork

"Things as they used to be" is a series portraying some very compelling visuals on how things were, a few months ago, before the Covid -19 pandemic. This emotional and sometimes romantic story in lights and shadows compiles the viewer to question and to implore the smallest pleasures that this pandemic has denied us. Some of the images instantly teleport you to a different time and place offering solace and hope which is so desperately needed in today's times. "The Lady in the Cafe" is one of the most beautiful images in the series with the thin smile of a lady sitting, content, peaceful and enjoying herself in a Parisian Cafe. The thin smile, radiating her peace within, almost like a milestone, achieved. We will be able to travel soon and maybe soon, we'd be sitting in a cafe like this and the worries of this pandemic behind us, remembering, only what truly matters. Keep taking care of yourself and stay safe and good times shall come back again soon.
