This is a portrait of the notorious Brazillian poet Manoel de Barros. A very famous for being hard to photograph and interview person - because, in his words he "hates to talk to machines", he would occasionally let me enter his home office and spend a few minutes. In one of these sessions I had the luck to snap this beautiful picture with my 1962 Yashica Mat in Kodak Pro 120mm film. The negative was later scanned and I made very minor adjustments - mostly cleaning - and rendered in a digital file that was used to make the prints. Prints are made on Hahnemühle William Turner 310g 100% cotton paper and come with Certification of Authenticity, signed and numbered on the back of each print.
