Whenever I go to photograph the interior of a building, I always try to understand if the occasion is propitious to explore the symmetry of the place, and in the case of the Cathedral of Madrid this was perfectly possible. So, I tried to position myself exactly on the longitudinal axis of the main ship and point the camera to the side I wanted. In this case, I shot towards the pipe organ, which sits over the main entrance, with the side arches forming a beautiful perspective. I wonder if architecture lovers will want to buy this photograph.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
