Ricardo Cuéllar is an American photographer of Latino/Mexican descent and a native of Texas, USA. Upon graduation from college, he made his way up the corporate ladder which landed him in jobs working in numerous states across the USA, and internationally in Mexico, Peoples Republic of China and Argentina. After more than a decade in the corporate world, he realized there was a gap of Latinos on American television and decided he wanted to pursue creating opportunities for Latinos to work in television in front of the camera and behind the scenes in American television. In 2000, he left the corporate world to pursue his new found vision, enrolled back in college to study television and film production and by 2007 he had written and produced, Alamo Heights SA, the first dramatic soap opera for internet distribution. Alamo Heights SA also became the first dramatic soap opera to cross over from the internet to television. Because of a failing economy,investors in the project had to pull out of the project and Ricardo had to put Alamo Heights SA on hold until he could figure out a creative way to raise the funds to continue producing it. With close to a $1M investment, he found that hiring writers, actors and crew to produce content for internet/television is quite costly. With his resources exhausted, he had to find a creative way to raise more capital. As a result the "Cellular Masterpiece, art 4 art Gallery" came about. All the work you see was created with the intention of raising capital to create jobs for people in internet video and television original projects. The funds raised by selling the artwork will be used to put Alamo Heights SA back into production. Any surplus revenues will be utilized to fund up and coming producers and directors with projects that will entertain our clients through internet and television series. All clients who purchase the art will be put on a VIP list and will provided a free access code to view the soap opera and other VIP privileges for a the first season when Alamo Heights SA is re-launched.
