A charming blindfolded woman pines at the door of an old farmhouse in decline, close to his dog. -Catremerio (Italy), an abandoned peasant village dating back to the 19th century, seems still alive today, even if populated only by memories of those who left and by some stray dogs. Italy
I studied portrait and still-life photography in Milan and attended various workshops with photographers world-class wedding reportage. After gaining experience at some photographic studios in Bergamo I chose to devote myself to my personal search for a photographic and artistic language more akin to my sensitivity. For my works are drawn to everything about communication (and the difficulty of communicating) between people (see my web site www.ivanbignamifoto.com , "Incomunic-abili" project). Through Saatchiart website I promote another aspect of my artistic research: architectural contrasts in large cities and urban geometries abstracted from their context.
