About The Artwork
A passionate nude study that seems to be well, perfect, but was in fact was difficult due to execute. Location is a deserted jeweller's workshop in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, UK. Shot in early December, 2018 the temperature was bitterly cold, and demanded short periods of posing between warm clothing and drinks break. The final portfolio of images certainly wouldn't have been as successful if photographed in summer, the winter light behaved perfectly providing that special je ne sais quoi. The available light was fast reducing by mid afternoon and needed to be captured correctly. Model Fleurdelis is truly a professional model with tenacity and passion, without her contribution the picture would not be in existence. Teamwork and collaboration always wins through.
