Off ya pop - Limited Edition of 1 Print

I was recently in Sri Lanka and made it my business to tarry a while at a turtle conservation/rehabilitation/sanctuary. Twas there I got the thrilling opportunity to 'release' a baby turty into the ocean. After depositing her on the shore, I stood over the wee darling with my arms out (to protect her seminal and precarious passage from the sights of scavenging birds). I peered round at the skies all the while with a fiercely maternal gaze. The fragility of life, the innumerable challenges faced and the determined slant of her flipper were all factors behind the inspiration for this piece. May the sea gently rock you, your trails be plastic-free - and may you return to this sandy shore hale, seaweed-kissed and glistening with the bubbles and brine of good health.
