About The Artwork
We were on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. It was a sunset. I took portraits of my friend. I wanted to capture the last rays of the sun on her face. But then I saw this old pine tree. It was so crooked but not because of age. This is such a breed. And yet it was clear that it had been here for a very long time. And this ocean and this sunset.
