Sahan - Limited Edition of 1 Print

What/who inspired the work? I did. this comes from an analogue photo-booth image I made, I used to regularly take photo booth pictures when I was a child if I had the change to use one. I re-photographed the image using a copy camera in order to make a large format negative that I then printed on to japanese paper that had been coated with liquid photographic emulsion. I then drew on the print and added a background of acrylic gold spray paint. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? It's not for me to tell people how to think about something I made. It would be nice if it made them think I'd like to buy that. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? Because that's the way I work.
