About The Artwork
In keeping with analog media artwork, that I am best know for, friends in the music industry offered their vintage radio collection to me for photographs. Listening is a quiet but engaged activity. When the radio was our primary method of hearing music, stories and news, we listened more. Reminiscing of the simpler times makes this art nostalgic. All my artwork starts with an original photograph I take with natural light. Processed in my digital darkroom, Photoshop improvements are made. A couple decades of commercial graphic design adds a pop art style. A masterful, archival color print on textured fine art stock which is 310 gram (super thick) is created in my own studio. Then I paint clear gloss, metallic and other color acrylic areas of the image. A custom wood frame with plexiglass is a museum quality finish piece, ready to hang in your media room, office, living room.
