About The Artwork
Photo from a series created in 2010 with the objective of capturing Spain´s landscape from a different point of view, from the train while traveling. At that time I made numerous trips from Madrid to the south of Spain and was fascinated by the landscape, the colors of the fields and some of the man made elements you could observe from the window. Aware of the challenge, mainly due to reflections on the glass, dirt and the unexpected objects that appears on the frame impossible to predict due to the speed of the train I decided to capture the experience of a relaxing train trip, not only allowing those "inappropriate" components you would´t have on fine art photography, but instead using them to improve the viewers experience. I want them to travel with me on that train.
