In this captivating photograph, a man in work clothes floats seemingly weightlessly in the air while a noose of rope encircles his neck and ends on the ground. The image conveys a deep emotional resonance and opens up space for different interpretations. The floating position of the man creates a surreal and dreamy atmosphere that contrasts with the oppressive symbolism of the noose. The man's work clothes could refer to the stresses of everyday life and the burdens of life, while the noose could serve as a metaphorical representation of obstacles, pressure or inner conflicts. The title "The End of Dreams" reinforces the emotional depth of the picture by pointing to the possible loss of hopes, goals or ambitions. At the same time, it opens up space for reflection on the viewer's individual interpretation and invites them to explore the multi-layered facets of human life and its challenges.

Germany
My name is Franz Hein, I was born in Ehrstädt, now Sinsheim, in 1965 and spent a lot of time in my youth with my photographer grandfather. I currently live in northern Germany near the Dutch border in the far west. Influenced by my grandfather, I came into contact with photography at a very early age and pursued it as a hobby for a long time, whereby technique and creative development improved with age. Over the years I have photographed many things, but never felt the real satisfaction with my work. As I was self-taught in photography, it was natural to study the works of various artists and art movements in photography. That's how I finally found my passion for not only No, I find myself and my works predominantly in the conceptual black and white photography, which had its heyday in the 60s to the end of the 70s. The often very abstract features of my works reflect in a certain way today's zeitgeist. Some colorful abstract photographs also found their way into my online gallery, but the emphasis lies in the monochrome design with contrasts and the play with light and shadow as well as the reduction to the essential. My ambition is to create few, but unique and well elaborated art photographs instead of many works in series. works in series I would like to share with you.
