I was floating around in a tidal pool in False bay, Cape Town trying to photograph the interesting life that grows on the walls of the pools. A group of kids all jumped in around me, kicking and splashing. I managed to catch this moment, it was the only shot I took. It's one of my favourite photographs.

Keri is multi-disciplinary artist and underwater photographer. More recent work includes explorations into print making, underwater photography and watercolour. This work explores her love of the ocean and specifically False Bay in Cape Town. Her sculptural work focuses on using found books and plastics. Additionally she works with raw materials, crystals and wood, to create to totems celebrating the commodities our earth provides. Her method involves reconstituting this range of objects into artworks that are organic in presentation, attempting to link an artwork and its materials back to its original source.
