"The Wait" is a candid photograph shot at Waterloo Station, London, UK, during the famous Royal Ascot event which takes place every summer. The attendees traveling by train pass through the station for the duration of the event which lasts 5 days. The result is a scenic atmosphere delivering a spectale of elegance and glamour of British high society mixed with the everyday life of the train station. The photograph depicts the typical British culture of keeping distance and respecting each other's privacy which might at times give the impression of people's indifference to the surrounding beauty. The lady in the stunning white dress and blue hat standing in the middle of the station is captivating but her privacy is respected while she waits for her company undisturbed.
